1. Who we are
In this Privacy Policy, us, we or our means Cubed Eye Studios (ABN 18 073 307 406), trading as Lattuss. We are committed to respecting your privacy. This policy sets out how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), whether or not we are presently required to. We sell authorization software to organisations that are accountable for their own data; holding ourselves to a lower standard than our buyers would be untenable.
Personal information means information or an opinion about an individual who is reasonably identifiable. On this website that is usually no more than your name, your work email address and what you asked us.
We may change this policy from time to time by publishing the change here. The date at the top of this page is when the current version took effect.
2. What we collect
This website has no accounts, no sign-up and no payments. We collect:
- What you send us. If you email us, your name, email address, any other contact details you include, and the contents of your message.
- Technical information created by your visit. Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the date and time, recorded in our hosting provider's server logs.
- Aggregate usage measurements. Which pages are viewed and how quickly they load, collected without cookies and without any identifier that would let us pick you out. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not buy contact lists, we do not enrich what you send us with data from third parties, and we do not ask this website for anything about you that you have not chosen to send.
3. Why we collect it
- to answer your enquiry and to talk to you about our products;
- to operate, secure and improve this website;
- to send you information you have asked us for, and to keep a record of what we sent;
- to meet our legal obligations, and to establish or defend a legal claim.
We do not send marketing to people who have not asked to hear from us. If we ever do, it will carry an unsubscribe link, and using it will stop the messages.
4. Who we disclose it to
We may disclose personal information to:
- third-party suppliers who help us run this website and our business, including our hosting, analytics and email providers;
- our professional advisers, where they need it to advise us;
- anyone to whom our assets or business are transferred, if that happens; and
- government agencies, regulators and law enforcement, where the law requires, authorises or permits it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it to anyone for their own marketing.
5. Disclosure outside Australia
Our website is hosted, and its usage measurements processed, by suppliers located in the United States. Personal information you send us by email may also be stored on servers outside Australia.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipient handles personal information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. Cookies and this website
This website sets no cookies of its own and no third party sets cookies through it. Our Cookie Policy sets out what that means and what we measure instead.
7. Security
We hold personal information in electronic form. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure: data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who need it, and we store it with reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us over the internet.
8. Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@lattuss.com. We may need to verify your identity first.
Occasionally we may not be able to give you access to everything you ask for. If that happens we will tell you why. Where we delete information from our live systems it may persist in backups for a reasonable period before those are cycled out.
9. Making a complaint
If you think we have breached the Privacy Act, or you want to complain about how we have handled your personal information, write to privacy@lattuss.com. Include your name, your contact details and a description of the problem. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

This website links to websites we do not operate. Those links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of those websites, and their policies may differ substantially from ours.
